2026 Softball Pitching Clinic

2026 Softball Pitching & Catching Clinic

Instructors:

  • Sarah Shotton, Softball MB Master Pitching Instructor
  • Emma Klassen, Central Energy

About Sarah:  I started playing fastpitch at a young age, pitching for Smittys for many years before moving to Houston to continue playing ball and to attend university. I also had the amazing opportunity to fly overseas right after graduating from university and spend a year living in the Netherlands, playing professionally there and travelling all over Europe. I have been lucky enough to have attended the Canada Cup as well as roughly 10 National tournaments and have won the MVP award on two separate occasions. I played in the 2007 Western Canada Summer Games, the 2009 Canada Summer Games, made the All-Star team in my first two years of university, won first team All-Conference and second team All-Region awards and overall had a heck of a pitching career.

I am currently a Master Pitching Instructor in the city and have been since 2014. I thoroughly enjoy coaching athletes of all ages, from developmental up to university level. The diversity in the athletes that I coach allows me to challenge myself to be more creative with my teaching styles, which I love.
